PUPILS from three dale primary schools were treated to a sneak peak of on-stage action when the cast of Teesdale School’s latest high-quality production, We Will Rock You, school edition, had their final dress rehearsal.

The musical, which features more than 20 hit Queen songs, including Another One Bites the Dust and We Are the Champions, showed off students’ talents from set and costume design, singing, acting and musical accompaniment.

Sally McGrath, head of music, said: “Everything has been student led from set design to playing in the band.”

Ahead of two nights of public performances, pupils from Green Lane, Montalbo and Middleton-in-Teesdale primary schools were invited along to enjoy the show.
