Langdon Beck show is called off

THERE will be no agricultural shows held in Teesdale this year after confirmation that the final fixture at Langdon Beck, has been cancelled.
Both Bowes and Eggleston Shows had fallen victim to the Covid-19 pandemic last month and continuing uncertainty has led to organisers at Langdon Beck calling off the event which brings the curtain down on show season in Teesdale.
A show spokeswoman said: “Unfortunately, due to the uncertainty of the current situation we have taken the difficult decision to cancel this year’s show.
“We would like to thank everyone for their support and hope to see them next year.”
Next year’s show will take place on Saturday, September 26.
