Hard working Tom aims to figure it all out when he comes to town

SOMETHING OF A COUP: Tom Stade will perform at The Witham later this month

JOIN Tom Stade at The Witham in Barnard Castle on Friday, March 15, as he attempts to figure out exactly where he fits into this emerging new world of feelings and FaceTime.

Exactly when did he, and all his stuff, become vintage – and why didn’t he see it coming?

Since coming to the UK, the Canadian comedian has built up a reputation as a popular and highly recommended performer.

He is willing to tackle a huge range of topics, from the obscure to the familiar, from a simple gag to quirky, inventive, rambling anecdotes with unexpected punch lines.

Tom Stade was named in Ents24’s top 20 hardest-working comedians 2017 and 2016.

Following last year’s UK tour, he is back with a new show, picking up just where he left off.

Peter Dixon, of promoters Funny Way To Be, said: “We were thrilled when we had to opportunity to bring Tom to Barnard Castle.

“He’s someone who has been on our radar for many years, so to organise a tour date with him is something of a coup.

“He is without doubt, one of the most prolific and engaging stand-ups of our time.

“His reputation within the comedy industry is so great tickets are already selling well with people from well outside our immediate area.”

The show is suitable for anyone aged 16 and older. Tickets are £16 from The Witham box office on 01833 631107 or online at www. funnywaytobe.com.
